Meet** Cleo** a Primitive Halloween folk art raggedy doll

Her name is Cleo and she measures about 18 inches tall. Her face is painted with acrylics paint, fabric markers and artist pencils then sprayed for protection.

I used osnaburg fabric for her body painted black. For her skirt I use hand dyed fabric purple and orange and 2 vintage purple and metal buttons. For her hair I used natural dark brown wool. I also made her a cane with real stick with a wooden pumpkin on top.She is at my etsy:http://www.etsy.com/shop/orosado1

Beatrice Bunny Is Eager To Help Any Way She Can

Ms. Beatrice Bunny Eager to help anyway she can.

Hello Everyone,
As I was busy creating Ms. Beatrice Bunny Japan suffered a massive catastrophic event.  It is very difficult to stay focused on creating when so many of our brothers and sisters in Japan are suffering something I cannot even wrap my head around.  The images I have seen are so devastating that clean up and return to any semblance of normalcy feels so daunting.  My heart and prayers go out to everyone in Japan.

As I was listing Beatrice Bunny on EBAY last Sunday night I found that EBAY has a way where you can contribute  part of your sale to Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. Both Beatrice and I are so happy that we may be able to contribute in a small way. She is always ready to be of service and I would be so thrilled to be a small part in making things a tiny bit better, hopefully, through my art.
Please come visit Ms. Beatrice Bunny on EBAY .  Her auction ends tomorrow night.  She would love to meet you : )

Have a wonderful Evening!

Pearl and her Doll

I welcome you to meet Pearl, and her ever so faithful dolly companion. This lovely lady, dressed in her Sunday best, dutifully waits by her window, awaiting her prince charming, and vowing her love, till death to them part. But blissfully unaware, her deteriorating body being amiss while she daydreams of her knight in shining armor, the lovely Miss Pearl has a secret. A secret quite dreadful indeed. She has been long deceased and forgotten, merely a memory that refuses to pass, alone forever.
Pearl measures 20.5 inches tall and is made with osnaburg fabric and painted with acrylic.

Witchy Ornament and Signs!

I have been working on Signs,
its been awhile since I took brush to sign,
this one is inspired by a Vintage Post Card.

I'm always trying to think of ideas
to use Ron's beautiful Witches.
Whilelooking through "Celebrate 365"
I was inspired to create this
Witchy Ornament!
