Pearl and her Doll

I welcome you to meet Pearl, and her ever so faithful dolly companion. This lovely lady, dressed in her Sunday best, dutifully waits by her window, awaiting her prince charming, and vowing her love, till death to them part. But blissfully unaware, her deteriorating body being amiss while she daydreams of her knight in shining armor, the lovely Miss Pearl has a secret. A secret quite dreadful indeed. She has been long deceased and forgotten, merely a memory that refuses to pass, alone forever.
Pearl measures 20.5 inches tall and is made with osnaburg fabric and painted with acrylic.

Mysteria De Lorenty

Meet Mysteria De Lorenty, She is a ooak doll made by me, Omayra, from OCR Primitive Arts. Mysteria’s body is made with muslin fabric. She measures about 14 inches from the top of her head to the bottom of her boots. Her face is hand painted with acrylic paint, fabric markers and Prismacolor pencils and lightly sprayed with Scotch Gard fabric protector. Her dress is made with of black vintage fabric, red and cream colored pattern fabric, ribbons and a vintage button that I had sewn in front of her black velvet belt. I had done lots of hand stitching on her outfit. Her boots are painted on white with an old look style. Mysteria’s hair is made of natural dark brown and white wool that has been needle felted to her head. Matching her outfit is an umbrella that I made with the same fabric used on her blouse. The umbrella does not open.

Victoria Rose

Hello everyone! I want you to meet Victoria Rose she is my latest Valentine’s doll. She is made of osnaburg muslin fabric that I painted with acrylic paint, sanded and distressed to give her that antique, aged look. She has a Victorian appearance and is named after my soon to 3 years old daughter. Victoria Rose’s skirt and ruffles are hand sewn and left with the raggedy edge. Her legs are securely attached to the body with baby blue ribbons. The buttons on her chest and shoes are antique are sewn with a heavy thread. Her arms are also securely attached with a heavy thread and then I sewed buttons for decoration. Victoria Rose holds in her hands a small felt pink heart. Victoria Rose is about 18 inches tall and she is on my etsy store. http://www.etsy.com/shop/orosado1
